Cartoon Network has provided The World’s Finest with new stills and a clip from the upcoming Teen Titans Go! episode “The Left leg,” airing Wednesday, September 25th, 2013 at 7:30pm (ET/PT). The half-hour comedy/adventure series – which features two 11-minute tales – airs Wednesdays at 7:30pm (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network, with rebroadcasts airing during the DC Nation programming block Saturday and Sunday mornings at 10:30am (ET/PT). Please note the new story “The Left Leg” will be paired with a re-airing of a previously-aired 11-minute tale. Cyborg creates a huge Titan robot powered by all five Titans, each of whom controls a different body part. Even though Cyborg tells Robin that everybody’s part is as good as the others, Robin gripes about his role as the left leg and makes some improvements to his section of the robot to make sure that the left leg is the most powerful part of all.
The new Teen Titans Go! installment “The Left Leg” will be paired with the previously-aired short.

Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Animation have released media for new animated short-form content set to debut this Saturday, September 21st, 2013 during the DC Nation programming block. The animated short “Super Pets – The League of Just Us” will make its debut this weekend. The hour-long DC Nation programming block airs Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00am (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. The DC Nation animated shorts star a host of different DC Comics characters in varying styles, and are usually paired with live-action interstitials. Representatives for the October 2013 New York Comic-Con have started to release early details for scheduled events at the annual comic convention, including panel details and scheduled showings. A part of the initial wave of comic convention announcements is the New York Comic-Con preview showing of the upcoming Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics documentary. New York Comic-Con 2013 will be held October 10th – 13th, 2013 at the Javits Center in New York. The upcoming documentary, narrated by Christopher Lee, spotlights the pivotal role villains play in the lives of DC Comics’ biggest heroes. Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics, which will feature clips from DC Comics-based animated productions past and present, ties in to the publisher’s current villain-themed comic initiatives and storylines. Warner Home Video has released a new image from the upcoming direct-to-video Justice League: War animated feature. Darkseid takes the spotlight in the new image. The upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie title, scheduled for release come Early 2014 from Warner Home Video, will be an adaptation of the “Justice League: Origin” storyline recently published by DC Comics. “Justice League: Origin,” written by Geoff Johns with artwork by Jim Lee and Scott Williams, kicked off the comic publisher’s current ongoing “The New 52” comic-line initiative. Steve Blum will provide the voice for the villainous Darkseid in the animated feature.
Additional cast details for Justice League: War include Jason O’Mara as Batman, Alan Tudyk as Superman, Michelle Monaghan as Wonder Woman, Justin Kirk as Green Lantern, Christopher Gorham as The Flash, Shemar Moore as Cyborg, and Sean Astin as Shazam. Jay Oliva is confirmed as director for Justice League: War, with Heath Corson adapting the original “Justice League: Origin” story.
Justice League: War is set for release come Early 2014 as part of the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line from Warner Home Video.
