Director Talks 'Static Shock' Batman Episode by Jim Harvey David Chlystek, director of the Static Shock episode featuring Batman, Robin, and The Joker, recently caught up with Toon Zone to talk about the much anticipated episode. "I was formerly a storyboard artist on Batman Beyond and have been a huge fan of BTAS. So we felt that we had an obligation to maintain as faithfully as we could the "feel" of Batman. I as a fan, tried to do a show that I want to see. My main focus with the episode was to treat Static like the audience and how we would react to coming face to face with the Dark Knight." said David Chlystek." Having seen a very rough cut of the animation, it is definitely the best looking Static Episode and even though I am partial there is a lot that hopefully will please the diehards." Also, in voice actor news updates, while Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are returning to reprise Batman and The Joker, a new actor will be providing Robin's voice. Eli Marienthal will replace the "old" Robin voice actor Mathew Valencia.
