MPAA Officially Passes PG-13 Rating To “Superman/Batman: Apocalypse” Feature
Following previous titles in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies direct-to-video feature line – a co-production of Warner Premiere, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation – the MPAA has officially handed down a PG-13 rating to the upcoming Superman/Batman: Apocalypse animated feature. RATING: PG-13
REASON: Rated PG-13 for violence and brief sensuality
DISTRIBUTOR: Warner Premiere
The upcoming home video release of Batman: Under The Red Hood to DVD and Blu-ray will include a 12-minute “first look” featurette on the upcoming Superman/Batman: Apocalypse title. Official details on the upcoming animated feature, scheduled to hit shelves Fall 2010, are slated to be released next month. Additionally, the animated short DC Showcase: Green Arrow is slated to be included on the home video release for the upcoming Superman/Batman: Apocalypse animated feature.
