“Wonder Woman: Commemorative Edition” Coming May 2, 2017 To Digital, May 16, 2017 To Blu-ray/DVD

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced an upcoming special re-release of the acclaimed 2009 Wonder Woman animated movie. Wonder Woman presents a fresh spin on the origin of the classic DC Comics icon, and is heralded as one of the best DC Universe Animated Original Movie titles. Details for the upcoming Wonder Woman: Commemorative Edition release, hitting digital outlets on May 2nd, 2017 and Blu-ray and DVD on May 16th, 2017, can be found below. Wonder Woman: Commemorative Edition will be available on Blu-ray™ Combo Pack ($24.98 SRP) and DVD ($19.98 SRP) starting May 16, 2017. The Blu-rayTM Combo Pack includes copies of the film on Blu-ray Disc, DVD and Digital HD.

On the mystical island of Themyscira, a proud and fierce warrior race of Amazons have raised a princess of untold beauty, grace and strength – Diana. When U.S. fighter pilot Steve Trevor crash-lands on the island, the rebellious and headstrong Diana defies Amazonian law by accompanying Trevor back to civilization. Meanwhile, Ares (the God of War) has escaped his imprisonment at the hands of the Amazonians and has decided to exact his revenge by starting a World War that will last for centuries and wipe out every living being on the planet, starting with the Amazons. The World’s Finest has reviewed the new Batman: The Brave and The Bold: Complete Season Three Blu-ray and Static Shock: The Complete First Season and The Zeta Project: Season Two DVD titles from Warner Archive. For fans of DC Comics-based animated series, these are three titles that fans should definitely consider adding to their collection. Not only does Warner Archive bring the final episodes of Batman: The Brave and The Bold and The Zeta Project to home video, the label finally gives Static Shock the attention it deserves with the complete first season finally collected. Preview Image From Upcoming “Batman and Harley Quinn” Animated Movie

A preview image from the upcoming Batman and Harley Quinn animated feature is spotlighted on the iTunes Extras page for the Teen Titans: The Judas Contract animated feature. Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is set to hit shelves come April 2017. No official details for Batman and Harley Quinn have been released as of yet, save for the movie title and Bruce Timm’s involvement as Producer, but that is expected to change in the coming weeks. Early details – including a trailer, cast, creative team and release date – are expected to be announced shortly. Until then, continue below for a first look at the upcoming DC Universe Animated Original Movie title.

While the animated title does appear to use character designs from the The New Batman Adventures-era of Batman: The Animated Series, there is no official statement yet of whether or not Batman and Harley Quinn takes place in that continuity.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract debuts April 18th, 2017 on physical media and April 4th, 2017 on digital media. IDW Publishing and DC Comics announced a collection of the monthly Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comic mini-series will hit shelves in July 2017. The mini-series, written by Matthew K. Manning with art by Jon Sommariva, has been a successful venture for the co-publishers, earning both critical and fan acclaim. In Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, villains start to mysteriously escape Arkham and Batman seeks to track them down, but he discovers that they have left Gotham completely… and gone to the New York City of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
