Veronica Vreeland is looking for a way to create a splash with her next party and arrives at the idea of having a criminal in attendance -- especially if there's one whose manners would create a stir. Quotes
PENGUIN: Sorry about the intrusion, sir, but at least you've been ransacked by someone with impeccable taste.
--
BATMAN: Two days out of prison and you're back to your old games, eh Penguin?
PENGUIN: You again and again and again!
--
BUS DRIVER: You comin' or not! I got a schedule, y'know?
PENGUIN: And a lovely disposition to go with it.
PENGUIN GATHERS HIMSELF AND GETS ON THE OLD BUS. HE LOOKS AT ALL OF THE WEIRD PEOPLE WHO ARE ON IT.
PENGUIN: Eh, this is hardly the style to which I am accustomed. . .
BUS DRIVER: Glad you like it.
--
PENGUIN: Say, who's there? Two-Face? Croc? Joker, old shoe!?
BATMAN: None of the above, Penguin.
PENGUIN: Oh no. Not you.
BATMAN: Get used to it. Where ever you go I'll be right behind you.
PENGUIN: Precisely where you belong.
--
PENGUIN: . . . And get this! Then I said 'But Warden, those aren't my pants!' A ha ha ha ha!
--
PENGUIN: Garçon! The check, if you please.
WAITER: With respect, señor, the management offers the meals with his compliments if you would just leave.
VERONICA: They seem to know you quite well. Have you eaten here before?
PENGUIN: I've been known to stop by for a quick carry out. . .
--
PENGUIN: Why don't you be a good masked man and ride off into the night?
--
PENGUIN: So, you're the president of Gotham First Federal. I hope you've beefed up your security. Those time locks were easy to circumnavigate as I recall.
BANKER: Sir, you leave me at a loss for words!
PENGUIN: I certainly left you at a loss for funds! A Ha ha ha!
--
VERONICA: Please, Oswald, if it's money you want I can get you more!
PENGUIN: Shut up! All I wanted from you, deary, was a little friendship. That would have cost you nothing, but now you'll pay!
--
PENGUIN: I suppose it's true what they say, 'Society is to blame'. High society.

Review: This was one of Penguin's better episodes, but still not the best. The idea of Penguin going straight has been driven into the ground for far it's growing mold. They did have some fun this time with the idea, having Penguin become a social outcast due to his wild personality and bizarre appearance.

Most of the great scenes were with Penguin trying to impress Veronica, and also Penguin at the party. The scene I got the most laughs from was when he turned around and saw the Mayor. Penguin says 'Say, isn't that Mayor Hill? Hey, Hammy!' and the Mayor turns and walks away like a child trying to avoid someone he doesn't like by pretending not to see them, but it's obvious that they did.

The animation wasn't that good, but a notch up from The Mechanic. The Penguin still looked a bit strange, and Batman looked horrible at times, especially when standing in the window in the slums waiting for Pierce to make the drop. Some voices didn't match up to the mouths, but that wasn't too often.
