Quotes
PENGUIN: I don't know who you are, sir, but I assure you, all
my transactions were legitimate. You see, I had no actual knowledge that
the items were stolen. Given that, I don't see how the law can touch me.
JUDGE: I am the law. . . and I find you guilty!
--
JUDGE: You are accused of murder. . . mayhem. . . manslaughter. . . How
do you plea?
CROC: You're nuts!
JUDGE: You can't escape justice.
--
TWO-FACE: Relocation, eh? I'd like to dislocate 'em both!
--
CORCORAN: Two-Face, please! I got money! Cash! I can pay you!
TWO-FACE: Don't tell me choir boy's got a slush fund.
CORCORAN: Kick backs from the Gothcorp project. A hundred grand. . . I
can have it here in an hour!
TWO-FACE: Shoulda said something earlier. We could have flipped on it.
--
ALFRED: I wasn't aware that the police evidence room had a lending
policy.
--
CORCORAN: What are you waiting for! They were going to murder me!
JUDGE: Who are you to judge? You pose as a defender of the law while
secretly stealing from the very people you swore to protect.
CORCORAN: No! You've got it wrong!
JUDGE: And then you lie to the Judge.
--
CORCORAN: You gotta help me on this, Batman. This could be bad for me.
BATMAN: Worse than you think.
BATMAN UNMASKS THE JUDGE TO REVEAL TWO-FACE.
BATMAN: Here's your Judge, Corcoran.
--
JUDGE (Voice Over): Order in the court! In the matter of the people
versus Harvey Dent, how does the prisoner plea?
TWO-FACE: Guilty. . . Guilty. . . Guilty. . .
Review: Now this was a great
episode! It was more in the traditional BTAS style with Batman working
alone, a little detective work, a good fight, a nice surprise and an
ironic ending. It was also a great Two-Face episode after his backseat
role to Tim Drake in Sins of the Father. The idea of the Judge was lame
at first, even for a one time villain, but after the episode got going,
it got better, and after the ending. . . Wow!
The animation was very good for the traditional style. Not too fancy,
but very nicely done. The characters were consistent, and the fights
were nicely choreographed, quick and to the point. Another plus for the
episode was the music, using both the old Two-Face theme and an eerie
choir for the Judge's theme. It gave a nice touch to the episode. All I
really wanted, especially during the scene with Batman and the Judge
fighting on the grappling wire, was a nice choir Judge-esque Batman
theme. Oh well.
Overall, a great episode, and definitely one of TNBA's best!
