BATMAN BEYOND
(Show Description)

"Batman Beyond" takes viewers into the world of the next century's "Tomorrow Knight," Terry McGinnis, where the new millennium has dawned and Gotham City has embraced the future. Terry, mentored by Bruce Wayne who is now a little too old to carry out the responsibility of being Batman, is presented with futuristic conflicts that require new levels of crimefighting. The series also follows Terry's life as an everyday teen who faces curfews, schoolwork, problems with girls, plus his friendship with Max--a strong-willed, teenage African-American girl, who has become Terry's unparalleled confidant.

The all-new third season of Batman Beyond on Kids' WB! will bring Batman face-to-face with the Justice League--Superman, Green Lantern, Barda and Aqua Girl--raising the question: Will Batman join the League when a member turns to the Dark Side? Terry will be confronted by past demons, will cope with the dilemma of turning in an old friend and will tackle the difficult decision of leaving his long-term girlfriend for a girl with a challenging lifestyle. At the same time, Bruce is given the chance to experience the fountain of youth and meets up with an old flame and a past enemy. This season will include a special crossover story line with the government's most wanted fugitive, Zeta, of Kids' WB!'s new high-adventure animated series The Zeta Project. In 13 all-new episodes, viewers will see how Gotham's newest crimefighter develops friendships, defends the city from modern-day villains and still manages to finish his homework.

Batman Beyond is produced and animated by Warner Bros. Television Animation, under the creative supervision of producers Alan Burnett, Paul Dini, Glen Murakami and Bruce Timm.
