I'm iffy on this episode. I haven't watched Gotham Girls for about a
week and a half, so any clues from last issue are pretty much gone, and
I don't really remember any of the earlier clues as well...oops... I
think I may have a 'Gotham Girls-athon' and watch them all in one
sitting, to connect the dots and everything.
Her motive does make some sense. She sees Victor Fries responsible for
what happened to Nora and wanted revenge. What she didn't know what that
Fries' technology also saved her. Maybe she didn't know that. So, she
thought the only way to get back at Freeze was to fight ice with ice -
and use his technology. I still don't like the ideas of all of Gotham's
men being put into an alternate dimension, but they did slowdown time
before with the Clock King.
And it'd be a good time to switch with Gordon.
And I'm sure while many other costumes were attacked and such, the
series just focused on the costumed girls of the series - hence the name
I'm gonna need to watch the entire season through again before I can
give my final assessment. I did enjoy the episode and I loved this
season - the best of the series. If the show returns for a fourth
season, hopefully we'll see another season long story or longer story
arcs.
And that nod to Bader at the beginning was touching. Bader was one of
the co-writers for the series and I was glad to see her acknowledged.
