Detective Lee is one of New York's finest, and a dedicated officer of the law, which usually brings her face-to-face with Spider-Man and one of his enemies. Perhaps the only cop in New York that actually trusts Spider-Man, Terry and the Wall-Crawler have teamed up on several occasions in order to help stop a villain. When Spider-Man was accused of robbery, Decective Lee thought he was being set up, refusing to believe Spider-Man had turned to crime. She and Spider-Man later teamed-up to defeat Mysterio and clear Spider-Man's name.

Also, after attempting to solve New York's vampire problem, she fell in love with Blade, before they both admitted it would be better to move on. Lee remains on the force, one of the NYPD's best, and a regular ally to Spider-Man.
