A vampire queen obsessed with populating the world with her kind, Mirium is also the mother of of Blade, The Vampire Hunter. Raising up through the vampire world after being bit decades ago, following the birth of the son she would give up, Mirium is now considered one of the highest-ranking vampires. After discovering that the Neogenic Recombinator could create vampires, she flew to New York to create her own army of bloodsuckers, but was thwarted by Spider-Man, Morbius, Blade and The Black Cat stopped her. After which she fled, with Morbius, Blade and The Black Cat following her through Europe to stop her turning anyone else and to end the vampire threat.
