Silvermane is one of the major crime lords in New York City, struggling to retain power in his advanced years. Obsessed with regaining his youth, he attempted to use a mystical device called the Tablet of Time to restore his youth, but inadvertently de-aged himself to an enfant. He eventually was able to trade his youth to The Vulture, regaining both his years and his grasp on his criminal empire.
