The focus of Miles Warren's scientific research is the cloning of orangic life-forms, research that quickly forced him underground to skirt the authorities. Througout his research, he found that the clones he created all suffered the same fate - their molecules began to fall apart shortly after they were born. Warren attempted to clone Hydro-Man, believing his water-drenched DNA could be a key component to overcoming his cloning problems, but that eventually led to a dead end after discovering his attempts to use Hydro-Man's DNA to clone Hydro-Man and Mary Jane Watson failed. However, Warren managed to steal a sample of Spider-Man's DNA ...
