This show is often dissed because it repeats a lot of the same sequences each and every week. Now, I love the visuals in this show. They're so incredibly cheesy, but they've got a charm to them. They fit the tone of the show perfectly, and sometimes, simplicity is all you need. I have always loved the backgrounds to this show for example.

If you look a little closer, you'll find a lot of the plots are the same too. Spider-Man is framed nearly every week, Jameson demands the police arrest him, Spider-Man proves his innocence and Jameson is made to look like a fool, Spidey swings away. It's a cycle but it works most the time.

Amusing scene aside, in which Spider-Man attempts to pull Jameson's moustache off, this is mainly an action episode, and it's a pretty good one. By this show's standards, the Spider-Man vs. Spider-Man fight is well staged, and there's even a dramatic scene before one of the ad breaks in which I genuinely though Spider-Man had been shot. It turned out he missed, but it was a very well done scene. Overall, a very enjoyable episode.
