Episode Review - Spider-Man: The 1967 Animated Series
Episode #20b - Trick of Treachery
Original Episode Airdate - January 20, 1968 (Season One Finale)
The Flys, a.k.a. the Patterson Twins, are paroled and freed. However, Spider-Man does not believe this and for a reason: they are framing him for all the heists they've done. It's up to Spidey to catch them in their act.

The Flies from "The Spider And The Fly" return to once again cause more havoc for Spidey. It should be noted immediately, this episode features one of the funniest moments in the entire series. Spider-Man, fool that he is, actually believes that The twins have turned over a new leaf and accepts their handshake and is shocked when he is thrown across the room for his troubles. His interrupted speech whilst shaking their hand still makes me chuckle when I think about it to this day. Absolutely fantastic.
It's just about the only note worthy aspect of the episode. The Flies were actually pretty cool compared to most of the original villains on the show and their return was unexpected but pleasent.
Pretty entertaining stuff, overall.
