Review:
The Green Goblin returns and discovers Spider-Man's secret identity! Don't get your hopes up though, unfortunately. "Turning Point" this ain't, even if Gobby discovers his identity in almost the exact same way.

Peter's life with Naoko Yamada-Jones and her son Shane isn't really all that interesting. It does give him an excuse not to be Spider-Man all the time, but it does get a little tedious, especially as Shane is pretty annoying. The somewhat interesting story of Goblin knowing Peter's identity is quickly tossed aside and forgotten. Instead, we get more nonsense with The Beastials and of The High Evolutionary talking out his backside about humans being waste, yada yada yada ... we've heard this all before. Several times at this point in the series, actually.

One interesting development is Spider-Man finally finding his ship and heading off to Atlanta City in an attempt to get home. It's not really built up as an emergency ... there's no real emotion behind his plight to get home and it's lost among the mess of The Beastials again. The series shows some potential here, but it's too wrapped up in this nonsense with The Beastials to explore it. We've yet to have a single episode that constantly delivers from start to finish, but this is an almost good effort.
