Bio: A track runner at Virgil’s school, Derek wasn’t so good at
understanding Algebra. Offering to tutor Derek, Virgil spent some time
trying to teach him the parts he wasn’t able to understand.
Unfortunately along the way, Derek’s exposure to the Big Bang gas began
to manifest a creature inside him. Called “Destruct” by Ebon and his
gang of bang babies, Derek reluctantly joined them and helped on their
crime sprees.
Derek eventually turned back and helped Static defeat Ebon, Talon and
Shiv. After getting away, Derek submitted himself for study as a Bang
Baby and hoped for a cure so he could return to his family. |
