Review

This episode was the key point in the Terra: Good or Evil? arc. After finally admitting to his feelings for her, Beast Boy and Terra finally hook up. This episode set up the finale so much it might as well have been a three-parter.

To say this was a Beast Boy focused episode, who is, for me, the least entertaining of the Titans, it was actually a good episode, better than what followed it. The episode wasn't without its humor, which was expected with Beast Boy, except this time it was actually funny, especially the "This is the greatest pie" line.

The ending of this episode was easily the greatest part of it. Watching Beast Boy fighting Slade and smashing all them mirrors was cool. It reminded me of Batman: The Animates Series Babydoll episode.

The episode mixed the humor, character interaction and fighting that you expect of Teen Titans well. It also had an above average ending, with Titans Towers practically destroyed and the Titans wondering, "what happens now?" after the truth about Slade and Terra is revealed. Again, it was a brilliant ending. Which makes 'Aftershock' all the more disappointing.
