A representative for Cartoon Network has confirmed the network has adjusted its current February 2010 programming schedule, resulting in new episodes of the Batman: The Brave and The Bold animated series being shifted to air at an undisclosed date. As previously reported here by The World’s Finest, new episodes of Batman: The Brave and The Bold were originally scheduled to air throughout February 2010, but will now be replaced with repeats as of this week for the remainder of the month. The new Batman: The Brave and The Bold episode “The Super-Batman from Planet X!” was originally scheduled to air this week, with images and media already made available here by Cartoon Network earlier this week, before being pushed to a late March 2010 premiere. No specific reason was given for the delay. Rumored for months as an upcoming title in the direct-to-video DC Universe Animated Original Movie line, Warner Home Video has confirmed Batman: Under the Red Hood will be the next animated feature installment in the popular home video series spotlighting DC Comics properties. The upcoming animated feature will be the focus of a “first look” bonus featurette included on the Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths Blu-ray and Two-Disc Special Edition DVD home video releases, arriving February 23rd, 2010 from Warner Home Video.
The featurette will look at the upcoming animated feature, including behind-the-scenes production work, interviews with the cast and crew, images and a look at the comic book story-line that inspired it. Batman: Under the Red Hood is based on the popular Judd Winick story of the same name, which ran in the Batman comic series from 2004 to 2005. This dark story features Batman at odds with the Red Hood, a mysterious new vigilante leaving a trail of dead bodies in his wake throughout Gotham. Winick is also listed as writer for the animated adaptation.
The Batman: Under the Red Hood direct-to-video animated feature is directed by Superman Doomsday co-director Brandon Vietti, and features the voice talents of Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek) as Batman, Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) as Red Hood, Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) as Nightwing, John DiMaggio (Batman: The Brave and The Bold) as the Joker and Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter film franchise) as Ra’s Al Ghul. The Disney XD network has provided schedule details for the classic Superman: The Animated Series two-part series finale scheduled to air on the network later this month, in February 2010. The two-part series finale, “Legacy,” features Superman battling the evil Darkseid. Superman: The Animated Series airs Mondays at 2:00am (ET) on Disney XD. Monday, February 15th, 2010 – “Legacy, Part One” Darkseid strips Superman of his memory and adopts him as a son in an effort to take over Earth.
Monday, February 22nd, 2010 – “Legacy, Part Two” After breaking free of Darkseid’s control and realizing the damage he’s done, Superman discovers Metropolis now fears him and must put a stop to Darkseid no matter what it takes.

Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths Gets Big-Screen Premieres on Two Coasts
Paley Centers in New York & Beverly Hills to Host Premieres on Feb. 16 & 18; Limited Free Tickets Available to Fans
Warner Home Video, Newsarama.com and The Paley Center for Media proudly present the bi-coastal World Premieres of Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, the highly anticipated next entry in the ongoing series of DC Universe animated original PG-13 movies, in New York on February 16 and in Beverly Hills on February 18. Filmmakers and members of the voice cast are expected to attend both events.
On February 16, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths will screen at The Paley Center in New York City (25 West 52nd Street) with a media interviews starting at 5:30 p.m. and screening commencing at 6:30 p.m.. A panel discussion with filmmakers and voice cast will follow the screening.
On February 18, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths will screen at The Paley Center in Beverly Hills (465 North Beverly Drive) with media interviews starting at 6:00 p.m. and screening commencing at 7:00 p.m.. A panel discussion with filmmakers and voice cast will follow the screening.
A limited number of free tickets are available for the general public. Fans in New York City wishing to receive free tickets to the NY event on Feb. 16 must RSVP via email to justiceleagueNY@newsarama.com. In Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, a good Lex Luthor arrives from an alternate universe to recruit the Justice League to help save his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, a gang of villainous characters with virtually identical super powers to the Justice League. What ensues is the ultimate battle of good versus evil in a war that threatens both planets and, through a diabolical plan launched by Owlman, puts the balance of all existence in peril.
A star-studded cast provides the voices behind the super heroes and villains, led by Mark Harmon (NCIS) as Superman, James Woods (Mississippi Burning) as Owlman, Chris Noth (Law & Order, Sex and the City) as Lex Luthor, William Baldwin (Dirty Sexy Money) as Batman, Gina Torres (Firefly/Serenity) as Superwoman and Bruce Davison (X-Men) as President Wilson. La-La Land Records, the acclaimed record label responsible for releasing a wide array of music scores from film and television, has provided details for the upcoming The Flash – Original Television Soundtrack two-disc CD release, a new title collecting Shirley Walker’s score from the fan-favorite 1990s live-action series. Disney XD Network Airing Classic “Superman: The Animated Series” Finale This Month

The Disney XD network has provided schedule details for the classic Superman: The Animated Series two-part series finale scheduled to air on the network later this month, in February 2010. The two-part series finale, “Legacy,” features Superman battling the evil Darkseid. Superman: The Animated Series airs Mondays at 2:00am (ET) on Disney XD. Please note the schedule information listed below is provided by Disney XD.
Darkseid strips Superman of his memory and adopts him as a son in an effort to take over Earth.
Monday, February 22nd, 2010 – “Legacy, Part Two”
After breaking free of Darkseid’s control and realizing the damage he’s done, Superman discovers Metropolis now fears him and must put a stop to Darkseid no matter what it takes.

Paley Centers in New York & Beverly Hills to Host Premieres on Feb. 16 & 18; Limited Free Tickets Available to Fans
members of the voice cast are expected to attend both events.
On February 16, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths will screen at The Paley Center in New York City (25 West 52nd Street) with a media interviews starting at 5:30 p.m. and screening commencing at 6:30 p.m.. A panel discussion with filmmakers and voice cast will follow the screening.
On February 18, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths will screen at The Paley Center in Beverly Hills (465 North Beverly Drive) with media interviews starting at 6:00 p.m. and screening commencing at 7:00 p.m.. A panel discussion with filmmakers and voice cast will follow the screening.
A limited number of free tickets are available for the general public. Fans in New York City wishing to receive free tickets to the NY event on Feb. 16 must RSVP via email to justiceleagueNY@newsarama.com. Fans in the Los Angeles area wishing to receive free tickets to the Beverly Hills event on Feb. 18 must RSVP via email to justiceleagueLA@newsarama.com. Tickets to both events will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
In Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, a good Lex Luthor arrives from an alternate universe to recruit the Justice League to help save his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, a gang of villainous characters with virtually identical super powers to the Justice League. What ensues is the ultimate battle of good versus evil in a war that threatens both planets and, through a diabolical plan launched by Owlman, puts the balance of all existence in peril.
A star-studded cast provides the voices behind the super heroes and villains, led by Mark Harmon (NCIS) as Superman, James Woods (Mississippi Burning) as Owlman, Chris Noth (Law & Order, Sex and the City) as Lex Luthor, William Baldwin (Dirty Sexy Money) as Batman, Gina Torres (Firefly/Serenity) as Superwoman and Bruce Davison (X-Men) as President Wilson. Other cast members include Josh Keaton (The Spectacular Spider-Man) as Flash, Vanessa Marshall (Grim & Evil) as Wonder Woman and Jonathan Adams (Bones) as Martian Manhunter.
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths is an original story from award-winning animation/comics writer Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League). Animation legend Bruce Timm (Superman Doomsday) is executive producer, and Lauren Montgomery (Wonder Woman, Green Lantern: First Flight) and Sam Liu (Superman/Batman: Public Enemies) are co-directors.
Warner Home Video will distribute the full-length animated Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths on February 23 as a Special Edition 2-disc version on DVD and Blu-Ray Hi-Def, as well as single-disc DVD, and On Demand and Download.

La-La Land Records, the acclaimed record label responsible for releasing a wide array of music scores from film and television, has provided details for the upcoming The Flash – Original Television Soundtrack two-disc CD release, a new title collecting Shirley Walker’s score from the fan-favorite 1990s live-action series. The The Flash – Original Television Soundtrack compact disc will be available to own through the La-La Land Records website and other online supporting soundtrack specialty stores beginning Tuesday, February 9th, 2010 at 12:00pm (PST).
