Batman Adventures #12 was solicited with the Riddler cover, but, a few weeks before it would be hitting the shelves, was announced to be sporting a new cover featuring Nightwing. The reason for the change, was that the editor felt that a Nightwing cover would move more issues than one featuring The Riddler.
