Artist Jeff Matsuda, who recently worked on the animated series The Batman and the animated feature Hulk Versus, provided early pitch artwork for what would become Spider-Man: The New Animated Series. Matsuda's work comes from very early in production for the series, and would eventually be adandoned for the 3D CGI-animated take on the Web-slinger.
