MARVEL COMICS

In 1995, Marvel premiered the first Gargoyles comic book series. While the book
directly references events from the animated series, it is not considered part of the overall Gargoyles mythos - it is
an out-of-continuity title. Greg Weisman, the creator of Gargoyles, did not have any direct involvement
in the story development of the comic series. The series ran for eleven issues in total.
