Additionally, La-La Land Records is printing a special Batman: The Animated Series – Original Soundtrack From The Warner Bros. Television Series, Volume One – Second Edition reissue release, putting the first volume soundtrack back into circulation. The first Batman: The Animated Series soundtrack sold out upon its original reelase in 2008, but is being re-offered again through La-La Land Records. This “second edition” re-issue is virtually identical to the 2008 version, except the bonus tracks “Gotham City Overture” and “Music of the Bat” have been removed to preserve the integrity of the initial release. The two-disc set, priced at $24.97, will also be available beginning at 1pm (PT) through the official La-La Land Records websites and online specialty retailers.

In continuing Batman: The Animated Series news, The Hub Network is airing a special Batman: The Animated Series marathon starting at 4pm (ET/PT) on July 20th, 2012. The five-hour marathon will air episodes from the original Batman: The Animated Series-era and from the revamped Batman: The New Adventures era. Episodes focusing on Ra’s Alu Ghul, Catwoman, Scarecrow, and Bane will be featured during the marathon. The marathon is a promotional tie-in to the theatrical feature The Dark Knight Rises, hitting shelves July 20th, 2012.
