Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced it will increase the run of the Batman: The Complete Animated Series – Deluxe Limited Edition Blu-ray release to 70,000 to meet demand. Remastered for the first time since its broadcast airing, the massive 12-disc Batman: The Complete Animated Series box set for $112.99 SRP will be available on October 30, 2018. Home Entertainment has increased its run of Batman: The Complete Animated Series Deluxe Limited Edition to 70,000 to accommodate overwhelming demand for the most anticipated Blu-ray box set release of 2018. Remastered for the first time since its broadcast airing from 1992-1995, the stunning box set for $112.99 SRP will be available on October 30, 2018.

“As many fans and media have noticed, Amazon and other notable retailers were forced to suspend sales of Batman: The Complete Animated Series Deluxe Limited Edition due to unprecedented demand for this beloved series,” explained Jeff Brown, General Manager and Executive Vice President, Television, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. “Sales surpassed our initial run of 30,000 limited edition box sets about four weeks ago and, rather than leave so many fans wanting, we implemented new production orders to accommodate the requests for this prized collection. A significant portion of those increased numbers have already sold, and all sites are accepting orders again.”

“Batman: The Complete Animated Series” Regular Edition Blu-ray Package Art, Release Date

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has provided details on a regular edition release of the upcoming Batman: The Complete Animated Series – Deluxe Edition Blu-ray box set, which will be available on November 27, 2018. The regular edition release will include slimmed down packaging and all of the same on-disc content as the Deluxe Edition, but will not feature any of the physical extras. The Batman: The Complete Animated Series regular edition collection is described as follows:

Batman: The Complete Animated SeriesAll 109 episodes (Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures) of the critically acclaimed, Emmy-winning series that redefined the Dark Knight with its thematic sophistication, aesthetics, voice acting, and orchestral score, have been remastered for the first time since their broadcast airing and are now all here in this 12-disc Blu-ray set, which also includes a Digital version. This 12-disc set includes a brand new, in depth featurette on the legendary storytellers behind the series, loads of in-depth featurettes, and commentaries on 12 episodes with animation creators.

To compare, the Batman: The Complete Animated Series Deluxe Limited Edition exclusive content includes three Funko mini-figurines (Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn) and seven lenticular art cards, all of which is housed in a layflat-book with a slipcase. That content will not be included on the regular edition. However, all on-disc content – including bonus features and bonus movie discs – will be identical across both releases. Batman: The Complete Animated Series Deluxe Limited Edition hits shelves on October 30, 2018, four weeks before the release of the regular edition. New “Batman Ninja” Clip, Images, Movie Now Available On Blu-ray, DVD

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a new clip from the Batman Ninja animated feature, now available to own Blu-ray and DVD, along with Digital HD. Batman finds himself thrust into the past and forced to do battle with The Joker in order to return home. The clip is available in the player below. Also below are new images from the new DC Animated Movie title.

Warner Bros. has also released a selection of images from both the animated movie and of the film talent during a pair of recent events in New York – a May 1 screening at The Directors Guild of America, and a May 2 Q&A and signing at Kinokuniya Bookstore. The talent pictured is director Jumpei Mizusaki, writer Kazuki Nakashima, character designer Takashi Okazaki, Roger Craig Smith (voice of Batman), Tony Hale (Joker), Grey Griffin (Catwoman) and Tara Strong (Harley Quinn).

Batman Ninja takes a journey across the ages as Gorilla Grodd’s time displacement machine transports many of Batman’s worst enemies to feudal Japan – along with the Dark Knight and a few of his allies. The villains take over the forms of the feudal lords that rule the divided land, with the Joker taking the lead among the warring factions. As his traditional high-tech weaponry is exhausted almost immediately, Batman must rely on his intellect and his allies – including Catwoman and the extended Bat-family – to restore order to the land, and return to present-day Gotham City

The World’s Finest Reviews “Batman Ninja”

The World’s Finest has published its review of the Batman Ninja animated feature, now available to own on Digital HD. In short, Batman Ninja is a huge surprise. The movie manages to continuously up the stakes in unexpected ways, until it just goes so enjoyably and completely off the rails. The story is fun and crazy, the animation is gorgeous, and it’s honestly unlike anything you’ve likely ever seen, Batman-wise.
