The World’s Finest Reviews “Batman: Death in the Family,” New Video Clip, Images

The World’s Finest has published its review of the DC Showcase Batman: Death in the Family animated short, which is available on Blu-ray and Digital HD starting October 13, 2020. In short, Batman: Death in the Family is an engaging and addictive adaptation of the classic 1980s Batman storyline, and while the interactive nature might not appeal to everyone, the solid execution of it here makes it well worth giving a chance.

Warner Bros. Releases New “DC Showcase: Batman – Death In The Family” Images, Video Clip

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a new Batman and Robin-centric clip from DC Showcase: Batman – Death in the Family, a special upcoming interactive stand-alone release from the DC Showcase animated shorts line. The highly-anticipated feature, which arrives on Blu-ray and Digital starting October 13, 2020, is the label’s first-ever venture into interactive storytelling. Other featured voices are Zehra Fazal (Young Justice) as Talia al Ghul and Gary Cole (Veep) as Two-Face and James Gordon.

Please note DC Showcase: Batman – Death in the Family will have multiple viewing formats on home media. The Blu-ray features all of the 2019-2020 DC Showcase shorts in hi-definition, including the fully-interactive, extended-length DC Showcase: Batman – Death in the Family, plus a digital version of the four other 2019-2020 shorts. For the digital release, DC Showcase: Batman – Death in the Family will be presented in a non-interactive format (pre-assembled version of the story, entitled Under the Red Hood: Reloaded), along with the other four 2019-2020 DC Showcase shorts, and three other non-interactive versions of the DC Showcase: Batman – Death in the Family (entitled Jason Todd’s Rebellion, Robin’s Revenge and Red Hood’s Reckoning) as bonus features. The Blu-ray also offers approximately five minutes of additional content within the DC Showcase: Batman – Death in the Family story that is not included in the Digital version.

“Batman: Death In The Family” Panel, More, Scheduled For New York Comic-Con 2020

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has confirmed the DC Showcase: Batman – Death in the Family animated short will have a dedicated panel at New York Comic-Con in October 2020. The annual pop culture convention will be a virtual event for 2020 due to the ongoing global pandemic. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC, Batman: Death in the Family is the studio’s first-ever venture into interactive storytelling, and arrives on Blu-ray and Digital starting October 13, 2020 along with the other 2019 – 2020 DC Showcase titles. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) presents three engaging panels – spotlighting the landmark interactive animated short Batman: Death in the Family, The Flintstones: The Complete Series remastered for Blu-ray™, and the all-new Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! – to New York Comic Con for the annual event’s new virtual streaming edition October 8-11, 2020.

The Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! presentation will be the first-ever Con appearance featuring all four core voices of Mystery Inc. together on the same panel: Frank Welker (Fred & Scooby-Doo), Grey Griffin (Daphne), Matthew Lillard (Shaggy) and Kate Micucci (Velma).

WBHE panels will spotlight never-before-seen footage, discussions with filmmakers, and showrunners, artists and actors. All three panels will be live-streamed through NYCC’s partnership with YouTube, and specific panel links will be found via the NYCC website at www.newyorkcomiccon.com.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s unveils its first-ever interactive film presentation with Batman: Death in the Family in a fascinating New York Comic Con panel. As the anchor of an anthology of 2019-2020 animated shorts, Batman: Death in the Family is based on the 1988 landmark DC event where fans voted by telephone to determine the story’s ending, and is organically grown out of the 2010 DC Universe Movie, Batman: Under the Red Hood. In this new version, the animated short is an interactive storytelling presentation with numerous “branches,” allowing the viewer multiple options from which to choose and alter the path of the core characters (Batman, Robin, Joker, Red Hood and more). Scooby-Doo and Shaggy’s favorite holiday is upon us! With fake monsters and candy galore, Halloween is heaven for these hungry foodies going door-to-door. The World’s Finest Reviews “Superman: Man Of Tomorrow”

The World’s Finest has published its review of the DC Universe Movie title Superman: Man of Tomorrow, which is available on Digital HD and physical media, including 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Combo Pack. In short, Superman: Man of Tomorrow is an intriguing reimagining of the early days of DC Comics’ first superhero. While it hits a lot of marks we come to expect from a story such as this, the new ingredients also both flesh out Clark Kent’s world in a humanizing, interesting fashion and will keep viewers drawn in until the end credits.
