Insight Editions is set to release Batman: The Animated Series – The Official Coloring Book, featuring over sixty images to color, this fall. Hitting shelves Oct. 8, 2024, the officially-licensed coloring book is a collaborative effort between Insight Editions and DC Comics celebrating the 85th anniversary of Batman’s creation. Insight Editions describes Batman: The Animated Series – The Official Coloring Book as follows:

Color iconic scenes and moments from the beloved 1990s animated series in Batman: The Animated Series: Official Coloring Book, filled with more than 60 “Dark Deco” illustrations of the Caped Crusader and his rogue’s gallery of famous foes.

The first animated show in the continuity of the shared DC Animated Universe, Batman: The Animated Series enticed fans for its art deco, noir illustrations of the Super Heroes and Super-Villains from Gotham City and introduced fan-favorite Super-Villain Harley Quinn and Mark Hamill’s legendary rendition of The Joker to Batman fans of all ages. Now fans of the influential 1990s Batman: The Animated Series can color in more than 60 illustrations of the iconic “Dark Deco” scenes to celebrate Batman’s 85th anniversary.

The Lego Group has officially announced an upcoming LEGO set celebrating Batman: The Animated Series. Hitting shelves on April 4, 2024, the LEGO DC Batman Gotham City Skyline set includes 4,210 pieces, minifigures of Catwoman, Batman, Harley Quinn, and Joker, and will retail for $299US. The LEGO Group, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and DC, unveils the LEGO DC Batman Gotham City Skyline set, an amazing recreation of Gotham City as it appears in Batman: The Animated Series. This atmospheric set, a 3D recreation of the Gotham City skyline in LEGO bricks, releases as Warner Bros. Discovery celebrates 85 years of Batman throughout 2024.

The 4,210 piece set is a Batman fan’s dream as every tower and building meticulously recreates iconic locations from Warner Bros. Animation’s Batman: The Animated Series including the Gotham City Court, Arkham Asylum, the classic Batwing and Bat-Signal. The set is also full of Easter eggs and beloved characters including Catwoman, The Joker, Harley Quinn and Batman himself. In addition, parts of the set open up to reveal more intricacies inside.

DC Comics announced The Batman and Robin Adventures Omnibus, an upcoming oversized hardcover release collecting the acclaimed Batman & Robin Adventures comic series, will hit shelves July 9, 2024. Batman & Robin Adventures, the sequel series to the original The Batman Adventures comic series, features stories inspired by Batman: The Animated Series. Dynamic Music Partners Releasing “Batman Beyond: Original Soundtrack, Volume One” On Dec. 8, 2023

The World’s Finest is proud to exclusively reveal that Batman Beyond: Original Soundtrack, Vol. 1, featuring music from the acclaimed animated series’ first season, will be released December 8, 2023. This long-awaited soundtrack, featuring a wealth of never-before-available tracks, is being released by Dynamic Soundtrack Records and will be available through all digital retailers and streamers.

Similar to Dynamic Soundtrack Records’ previous two Teen Titans: Original Soundtrack titles, both still available for purchase, this release includes 95 tracks chosen specifically and carefully from the show’s first 13 episodes. Composers/Producers Kristopher Carter, Michael McCuistion & Lolita Ritmanis reached out to The World’s Finest to share their thoughts on this exciting release.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to finally see a Batman Beyond soundtrack become a reality after years of requests from fans!” said Carter. “It’s been an amazing experience to revisit our Batman Beyond work after all these years.”

“The music from Batman Beyond was produced like a record…several days of tracking, overdubs and mixing,” McCuistion explained. “Each of our four studios was running 24/7; we were performing and producing synths, distorting samples and playing electronic drums. We collaborated with several top LA studio musicians who played live guitars, electric bass, acoustic drums and several orchestral instruments including acoustic and electric violins, cellos, French horns and more.”

“This music sounds every bit as modern and heavy-hitting as ever,” said Ritmanis. “It is deeply gratifying to us that we’re able to include music by the late Shirley Walker, our mentor and friend. Her vision and tenacity in securing this series for our team is the stuff of legends.”
