The Hub Removes “Batman: The Animated Series,” Keeps “Superman: The Animated Series,” Returns “Batman Beyond”
The Hub network has announced a few changes to the channel’s daily schedule, including the removal of the classic Batman: The Animated Series from the weekday line-up. Starting Monday, December 2nd, 2013, the weekday 8:00am (ET) airings of Batman: The Animated Series will be replaced with repeats of Transformers Animated. The network has not confirmed at this time if this is a temporary or permanent removal of the series from the schedule. Batman: The Animated Series has been a part of the The Hub line-up since September 2011.
Additionally, Superman: The Animated Series will move to a new timeslot, now airing weekdays at 10:00am (ET). Batman Beyond is also returning to The Hub after a brief hiatus. The show will be paired with Superman: The Animated Series, airing weekdays at 9:30am (ET).
The network is expected to announce further possible schedule changes, with episode specific details, in the coming days.
