“Batman: The Complete Animated Series” Blu-Ray Collection Coming October 16, 2018

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced the Batman: The Complete Animated Series Blu-ray collection will hit shelves on October 16, 2018. The highly-anticipated Blu-ray collection will include every episode of Batman: The Animated Series presented in high-definition for the first time, along with new bonus material. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment originally announced this title back in October 2017. Click on the thumbnail below for a closer look.

Batman: The Animated Series
At San Diego Comic-Con 2018, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment held a panel dedicated to Batman: The Animated Series, showcasing the new high-definition remasters and what fans can expect from the collection. As per initial details released, the collection will include the entire series, all 109 episodes, along with the high-definition remasters for Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and Sub-Zero Additionally, the collection will include audio commentary on select episodes, a new hour-long “Heart of the Batman” featurette, other on-disc bonus content, a mini-artbook and a selection of Funko Pop vinyl figures.

An official press release with the above details, and further information, for Batman: The Complete Animated Series, is expected in the near future, so please note currently available details may be incomplete. Also note the temporary artwork is not representative of the complete packaging, which will include a more elaborate design along with physical bonus content.

First Look At “Batman: The Complete Animated Series” Blu-Ray Artwork

A first look at the upcoming Batman: The Complete Animated Series Blu-ray collection has been released. The highly-anticipated Blu-ray collection will include every episode of Batman: The Animated Series presented in high-definition for the first time. More details for the Warner Bros. Home Entertainment collection, including details on bonus content and more, will be announced during San Diego Comic-Con 2018. Warner Bros. A specific street date has not yet been announced, but Warner Bros. states the release will hit in the fourth quarter of 2018. Expect the street date to be announced during San Diego Comic-Con 2018. New “Batman Ninja” Clip, Images, Movie Now Available On Blu-ray, DVD

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a new clip from the Batman Ninja animated feature, now available to own Blu-ray and DVD, along with Digital HD. Batman finds himself thrust into the past and forced to do battle with The Joker in order to return home. The clip is available in the player below. Also below are new images from the new DC Animated Movie title.

Warner Bros. has also released a selection of images from both the animated movie and of the film talent during a pair of recent events in New York – a May 1 screening at The Directors Guild of America, and a May 2 Q&A and signing at Kinokuniya Bookstore. The talent pictured is director Jumpei Mizusaki, writer Kazuki Nakashima, character designer Takashi Okazaki, Roger Craig Smith (voice of Batman), Tony Hale (Joker), Grey Griffin (Catwoman) and Tara Strong (Harley Quinn).









Produced by Warner Bros. Japan and DC Entertainment, Batman Ninja is now available to own on Blu-ray Steelbook, Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD. The film will be available in 4K UHD for Digital only in a release planned for Summer 2018. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment describes the film as follows, as seen below.

Batman Ninja takes a journey across the ages as Gorilla Grodd’s time displacement machine transports many of Batman’s worst enemies to feudal Japan – along with the Dark Knight and a few of his allies. The villains take over the forms of the feudal lords that rule the divided land, with the Joker taking the lead among the warring factions. As his traditional high-tech weaponry is exhausted almost immediately, Batman must rely on his intellect and his allies – including Catwoman and the extended Bat-family – to restore order to the land, and return to present-day Gotham City

The World’s Finest Reviews “Batman Ninja”

The World’s Finest has published its review of the Batman Ninja animated feature, now available to own on Digital HD. In short, Batman Ninja is a huge surprise. The movie manages to continuously up the stakes in unexpected ways, until it just goes so enjoyably and completely off the rails. The story is fun and crazy, the animation is gorgeous, and it’s honestly unlike anything you’ve likely ever seen, Batman-wise. Warner Bros. Releases New “Batman Ninja” Clip, Images, Expands New York City Movie Event

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a new clip, featuring Gorilla Grodd, from the Batman Ninja animated feature, now available to own on Digital HD. The DC Animated Movie title will also be available for purchase on Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on May 8, 2018. The clip is available in the player below. Due to overwhelming demand, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has opened up new seating for the New York City premiere of Batman Ninja on Tuesday, May 1 at The Directors Guild of America (110 West 57th Street in New York City). The 7:00 pm event will include the screening and a post-screening panel discussion amongst filmmakers and actors. Tickets are free to the public, and RSVP instructions are below.

On Wednesday, May 2, the filmmakers and actors will also make an appearance at Kinokuniya Bookstore (1073 Avenue of the Americas), the preeminent location for anime films, books and merchandise in New York City. There will be a Q&A and a signing of exclusive Batman Ninja posters. This event, starting at 5:30pm, is also free to the public.

Batman Ninja‘s trio of acclaimed anime filmmakers – director Jumpei Mizusaki (Opening animation of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure), writer Kazuki Nakashima (Gurren Lagann) and character designer Takashi Okazaki (Afro Samurai) – will appear at both events alongside the film’s core quartet of celebrated actors: Roger Craig Smith (Batman: Arkham Origins) as Batman, Tony Hale (Veep, Arrested Development) as the Joker, Grey Griffin (Scooby-Doo franchise) as Catwoman, and Tara Strong (Batman: The Killing Joke) as Harley Quinn.

Fans wishing to receive free tickets to the New York screening on May 1 must RSVP via email to BatmanNinjaNYC@gmail.com. Ticket requests will be fulfilled on a “first come, first served” basis, and fans will be notified within hours of their RSVP.

The body of all fan RSVP emails need ONLY include the (1) name of the entrant, (2) number of tickets being requested (limit four per entry), (3) valid email address, and (4) name of the media outlet/website by which the entrant learned of the screening. Please enter only once. Fans should keep their entry simple – here’s an example of exactly how the body of the RSVP email should appear:
