Warner Home Video has announced that the home video releases for the recent direct-to-video animated efforts Superman/Batman: Public Enemies and Green Lantern: First Flight will be repriced to a lower suggested retail amount beginning this week. Both Superman/Batman: Public Enemies and Green Lantern: First Flight, two animated features under the popular DC Universe Animated Original Movie line from Warner Home Video, will find the suggested retail price for the single-disc DVD editions drop to $14.98. The reprice is a decrease from their respective $19.98 original price tag. These new prices go in effect March 16th, 2010.
While estimated sales figures are not yet available, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths landed respectable debuts on both the DVD sales charts and Blu-ray sales charts. The latest in the DC Universe Animated Original movie line from Warner Home Video, the direct-to-video animated feature managed to debut higher than two other high-profile new releases from the same home entertainment studio, The Informant! and The Box. According to various home media retailing outlets and independent research, the title landed at the #2 spot on the Top 20 DVD sales chart for the week of February 28th, 2010, and hitting #3 on the Blu-ray sales chart for the same week. Keep in mind the data above does not take into account rental numbers, OnDemand numbers, or legal download numbers. Estimated sales numbers are expected shortly.

The Worlds Finest has confirmed that actors Alex Martella and Vincent Martella are part of voice cast for the upcoming direct-to-video Batman: Under the Red Hood animated feature, the next title in the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line. The actors will be playing young and younger versions of “Robin” in flashback sequences during the feature. Vincent Martella is well-known for his role as Phineas in the popular Phineas and Ferb animated series from Disney Animation, while this new animated feature is one of first major roles for Alex Martella.
The Batman: Under the Red Hood direct-to-video animated feature is directed by Superman Doomsday co-director Brandon Vietti, and features the voice talents of Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek) as Batman, Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) as Red Hood, Neil Patrick Harris (Justice League: The New Frontier) as Nightwing, John DiMaggio (Batman: The Brave and The Bold) as the Joker and Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter film franchise) as Ra’s Al Ghul. Bruce Timm is the executive producer.

The 2009 direct-to-video Wonder Woman animated feature is scheduled to air this Friday, March 12th, 2010 at 10:00pm (ET) as part of the “Teletoon at Night” programming block on Teletoon.
