“Batman: The Brave And The Bold” Is The Next DC Comics-Inspired Animated Series

The World’s Finest has learned that the next DC Comics inspired cartoon will be called Batman: The Brave and The Bold While Cartoon Network will not confirm these details at this time, The World’s Finest has learned that the The Brave And The Bold animated series will center around Batman teaming up with a different DC superhero in each episode. The series will also apparently have no ties to any previous animated incarnations. Batman: The Brave And The Bold is rumored to premiere next fall though, once again, nothing is confirmed at this time.

“What Goes Up…” Images and Synopsis

Hawkman is the latest member of the Justice League to visit Gotham in The Batman episode entitled “What Goes Up . . .” premiering this Saturday within the top-rated Kids’ WB! lineup on The CW.

The synopsis for “What Goes Up …”: When Shadow Thief teams up with Black Mask to steal an entire building, Hawkman arrives in Gotham to give Batman an assist. Robert Patrick (The Unit, Terminator 2: Judgment Day) voices Hawkman. The episode is written by Alexx Van Dyne and directed by Christopher Berkeley.

“The End of The Batman” Images and Synopsis

“Batman and Robin meet their criminal twins, Wrath and Scorn, a dynamic duo dedicated to helping villains. Matters get even more complicated when Batman and Wrath uncover each other’s secret identity.”

Guest characters include a cavalcade of villainy: Joker, Penguin, Ventriloquist, Killer Croc and Wrath/Will Mallory & Scorn/Andy Mallory.

“The End of The Batman” is written by Robert Goodman and directed by Vinton Heuck.
