Bio: When an old stone, containing the evil of the ancient Ophidians, was confiscated by the government, Mophir did what he was born to do: stop the world from ending. Whoever possessed this stone would turn mad, forcing them to do its bidding. The stone passed from a General Eclipso, to Wonder Woman, then to Green Lantern, who threw a device into the sun which caused the world to go dark, and then finally passing into the entire league (as the stone was shattered). The League then turned against Flash in an attempt to stop him from halting their progress. The shards of the stone were removed from the League and Flash and Green Lantern were able to suck the "dark matter" that covered the sun into a black hole.
