| First of all it was great seeing Green Lantern in a Superman: The Animated Series Episode. Over all, I thought the way this was presented was excellent. It was definitely one of Bader's best stories, in my opinion. The plot was fast moving and the way they had the characters act around each other was fun to watch. It was also very humorous to see Kyle Rayner working at the Daily Planet as an artist. The way the Green Lantern ring went searching for a new person to control it was very good and funny. It makes you wonder what it would have done if it had found Superman. The part where if flew off of a woman's bottom and then watching her turning around and hit the man behind with her purse, was great. I thought Kyle got used to the ring a bit too quickly. He went from having the ring hit him in the head in the men's bathroom, at the Daily Planet, to fighting Sinestro a bit too quickly, but I suppose they did this for TV purposes. The action in this episode was awesome! I don't know how they could have done it any better. It was great action that helped tell the story. It didn't seem like they threw it in there just cause it was action. I do have to admit this is one of my favorite episodes. I just wish Kyle made another appearance in another episode! |
