| I bet almost every fan is just as mad as I am towards Prof. Hamilton. I think he is smart enough to know that it is possible for someone to take over Superman’s mind. He was more afraid of performing an act of treason then Supergirl dying. He ended up being a coward. It appeared as if Superman committed murder. When he went back to Apokolips via a boom tube a bunch of Parademons are there. Superman’s eyes light up and hit them all. Then it flashes to a far away shot and you can see the red light coming from the clouds. The animation was great besides the regular jerkiness and a major error I noticed. In the beginning of the episode Lois is on the remains of a building. When she walks across it her leg goes right threw one of the remains! Besides that the animation was great! The ending scene between Darkseid and Superman has got to be the best battle scene ever for a Superman Episode. It was just great. I was pretty surprised that the censor let them show some of it. Such as blood coming from many parts of Superman’s body during the battle. It almost looked as if Darkseid was enjoying the fight till he got his butt kicked in the end. After Superman beat up Darkseid real badly he told Darkseid’s "slaves" that Darkseid was finished and they could do what they wanted with him. To my shock the slaves helped Darkseid up and carried him off. As they did this Darkseid said to Superman, "I am many things Kal-El but here I am god." The romance between Superman and Lois at the end was interesting. They shared a fairly short kiss. I wonder what they will do with this in Justice League. |
