Beware The Batman
#23 - Choices

Original Airdate - September 27th, 2014
It's Barbara Gordon's chance to shine! When Batman and Katana are ambushed in the Gotham subway by Killer Croc and trapped in a hole directly in the path of the subway's speeding trains, it's up to Barbara to save them. Only one problem: Barbara's on the first real date she's ever been on with one of the hottest guys in her school – Creed Cortman (Yuri Lowenthal). With a pair of off-duty cops following her, she's stuck in a three-way mess. But this is life and death. Can she save Batman and Katana without anyone finding out about her secret life?

Mini-Review by RoyalRubble:

Nice to see Killer Croc make a comeback; the rematch between him and Batman was good. Not as brutal as their previous fight, but at the same time it didn't need to be. I like the way they handled Croc on this show - he's smarter than I thought he was (and apparently both Batman and Katana thought as well); his plan was neat, and using the subway stations as his headquarters was a pretty clever idea. The fight choreography was good enough; I liked how Croc was defeated in the end.

Barbara Gordon is put into the spotlight in this episode and her little sub-plot plays out rather nicely. A little more comedy than I expected, but it all works. Jim Gordon acting as an over-protective father was just hilarious. The undercover detectives spying on the kids was fun. Would have been neat if the guy Barbara dated was someone from the comics as well. All in all, an unexpectedly fun episode, with some good action scenes as well - it works well in contrast to the previous Killer Croc episode.
