Description: The Dark Knight must save Gotham City from a new threat in the critically acclaimed 1993 Warner Bros. major motion picture Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.
When a woman from Bruce Wayne’s past, Andrea Beaumont, comes back into his life, Bruce questions whether he should continue protecting Gotham City as Batman. But his introspection is short-lived when the city’s most notorious crime bosses are killed, and the Caped Crusader is blamed for their murders. The Dark Knight sets out to clear his name, revealing a new masked vigilante: the Phantasm.
Based on the hit television show Batman: The Animated Series and featuring Warner Bros.’ first-ever use of computer-generated animation, this film noir-inspired original story continues the Batman legacy with a dark mystery involving the Phantasm and Batman’s infamous archrival, the Joker.

Warner Bros. Japan said production is currently underway on Suicide Squad ISEKAI, an all-new original anime series based on the popular DC Comics characters. Announced during a special panel at the Anime Expo 2023 convention, the studio stated WIT Studio will be handling the animation production for the series. Watch the announcement trailer below.
Additional details announced include that Suicide Squad ISEKAI will be directed by Eri Osada, with screenplays by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara. Continuing, Naoto Hosoda is the main character designer and Kenichirou Suehiro is the music composer. A teaser poster was also released illustrated by Akira Amano, who’s credited with draft character designs for Suicide Squad ISEKAI. Warner Bros. Japan describes Suicide Squad ISEKAI initially as follows:

*ISEKAI means “another world”, which is now one of the most popular genres for Japanese anime.

Warner Bros. Animation has announced the fourth season of the acclaimed Harley Quinn animated series will debut July 27, 2023 exclusively on Max, the Warner Bros. Discovery streaming platform. The critically-acclaimed Max Original adult-animated series was renewed for a fourth season in 2022. The official description and trailer for Harley Quinn‘s fourth season is expected to be released soon.
Warner Bros. Animation and Max describe the series as follows:
Harley Quinn sets out to become Gotham City’s greatest villain with help from Poison Ivy and a ragtag crew of DC castoffs. With appearances by DC’s most notorious characters and featuring a notable voice cast, Harley Quinn showcases the titular antiheroine’s killer journey from girlfriend to leading lady.
The fourth season of Harley Quinn debuts July 27, 2023 on Max. All three seasons of Harley Quinn, plus the 2023 Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special two-part animated event, are currently available to stream on Max. Warner Bros. Discovery has released a full trailer and key art for the upcoming My Adventures with Superman animated series, slated to debut July 6, 2023 on Adult Swim and next day on Max. My Adventures with Superman, the newest animated series from Warner Bros. Animation and DC, is set to take flight Thursday, July 6 at midnight on Adult Swim and next day on Max. The official trailer and key art showcasing Jack Quaid as the voice of Clark Kent, Alice Lee as the voice of Lois Lane, and Ishmel Sahid as the voice of Jimmy Olsen also debuted today [June 5, 2023].
My Adventures with Superman is a serialized coming-of-age story catching up with twenty-somethings Clark Kent, the bright and driven Lois Lane, and their best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are and everything they can accomplish together as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet. The story follows Clark as he builds his secret identity as Superman and explores his own mysterious origins. Lois, on her way to becoming a star reporter, teams up with photographer Jimmy Olsen to break the stories that matter. All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love… as Lois gets closer and closer to uncovering his secret identity! Our trio share adventures, take down bad guys, stumble over secrets, and discover what it means to be heroes in their own right.
Season one will debut with two back-to-back episodes, followed by one new episode every Thursday. Encores of new episodes will air Fridays at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim and Saturdays at midnight on Toonami. New episodes will also stream Fridays on Max.
Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!) serves as executive producer. Jake Wyatt (Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus) and Brendan Clogher (Voltron: Legendary Defender) are on board as co-executive producers and Josie Campbell (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) as co-producer.

They live again! After a long slumber, Gargoyles – the critically-acclaimed 1990s animated series from Walt Disney Animation – has roared back to life, thanks in part to the current ongoing monthly series from Dynamite Comics. Launched in December 2022, written by Gargoyles co-creator Greg Weisman and featuring electric artwork by George Kambadais, the series continues the canon adventures of the Manhattan Clan, taking them to places fans have only dreamt of.
Now, Gargoyles is set to both kick-off the second half of its opening 12-issue “Here in Manhattan” arc – offering a great entry point for new readers – and launch a six-issue spin-off series, Gargoyles: Dark Ages! The World’s Finest recently caught up with Weisman to ask a few questions about the future of the Manhattan Clan, what it means to return to the world of Gargoyles, and drop a tease or two of what’s to come.
