In The Batman/Superman Movie, the Caped Crusader meets the Man of Steel for the very first time. “Superman: The Animated Series” Disney XD Mini-Marathon Slated For Later This Month

The Disney XD network has scheduled a special programming block of Superman: The Animated Series episodes slated to air on Friday, February 20th, 2009. Further information is below.

More special programming blocks of Superman: The Animated Series are slated to air on Disney XD. Superman: The Animated Series regularly airs Sunday – Monday at

DC Animated Series Scheduled For Disney XD Network Revamp Launch In February 2009

Disney XD, the name of the relaunched Toon Disney network, has announced a breakdown for its February 13th, 2009 premiere, and three DC Comics-themed animated series will be part of schedule . Below is the schedule for the DC animated shows that will be airing when the network is relaunched.

Static Shock will air Monday-Thursday at 3pm (ET), Tuesday-Friday at 9pm (ET), and Saturday at 5pm – 7pm (ET).
Superman: The Animated Series will air Sunday – Monday at 2am (ET)
Batman: The Animated Series will air Sunday – Monday at 2:30am (ET).

While Batman: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series have been fixtured on the Toon Disney network, Static Shock is a new addition to the schedule. Please note that special blocks of Batman: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series will be airing on Disney XD at undisclosed timeslots. Stay tuned for further updates.

Toon Disney Airs Two-Part “Superman: The Animated Series” Episode This Weekend

The Jetix Block has scheduled to air the acclaimed Superman: The Animated Series episodes “Apokolips…Now, Part One” and “Apokolips…Now, Part Two” on Sunday, December 21st at 11pm(ET). The two episodes, which will air over an hour programming block, are described by the network as follows, as seen below.


Apokolips … Now!, Part One
Superman teams up with Orion to battle Darkseid as he prepares to attack Earth.

Apokolips … Now!, Part Two
When Darkseid invades Earth, the citizens of Metropolis and troops from New Genesis join forces with Superman to stop his advance.
