Synopsis: On their first official assignment a covert recon mission to the Venom-producing island of Santa Prisca the team finds itself caught in a struggle between the deadly Bane and cult leader Kobra for possession of something far worse than they suspected.

The classic Batman villain Bane will be featured in the upcoming Young Justice episode “Drop Zone,” the fourth installment of the new animated series airing on Cartoon Network. Young Justice airs new episodes Fridays at 7:00pm (ET) on Cartoon Network, with encore presentations the following Sunday at 8:00pm (ET).
In the episode “Drop Zone,” Batman sends Young Justice on their first official mission to investigate the production of a new drug called Venom in a nearby rogue country. The teen heroes soon find themselves in the middle of a war between Bane and the cult organization Kobra.
Bane will be voiced by cult actor Danny Trejo. “Drop Zone” is currently slated to air at 7:00pm (ET) on Friday, January 28th, 2011 on Cartoon Network, with preliminary details available here.
The episode will also continue with subplots introduced in the two-part Young Justice series opener and the third episode, “Welcome to Happy Harbor.” “Welcome to Happy Harbor,” scheduled to air tonight, Friday, at 7:00pm (ET) on Cartoon Network, will also fully introduce Miss Martian and the character’s backstory.
