Bio: Stagg wanted to create the ultimate soldier–a metamorpho. He tested it on Rex Mason, an old acquaintance of John Stewart, and he was transformed into a shape-shifting mutant. During a fight with Metamorpho, Stagg was exposed to some chemicals which turned him into a giant, walking, orange blob of goo. He was destroyed and it is unknown if he was able to form back up from the little pieces of him that flew everywhere, or whether he is truly dead. |
