Writer Aaron Sparrow and artist Leonel Castellani pitched a Justice League Unlimited comic series to DC Comics in late 2018/early 2019 that would pick up where the animated series left off. The pitch would have taken place in DCAU continuity and would continue storylines and plot threads directly from the animated series. DC Comics ultimately turned down the pitch.
