Cartoon Network has confirmed what The World’s Finest first reported back in October 2015 – that an all-new Justice League-based animated series is coming! Justice League Action is slated to air on Cartoon Network as a companion series to the network’s current #1 animated series, Teen Titans Go!. What is Legacies of the DCAU? Site Update: The World’s Finest Reviews “Batman: Bad Blood”
The World’s Finest has published its review of the Batman: Bad Blood animated feature, now available through most digital outlets and hitting Blu-ray and DVD on February 2nd, 2016. In a nutshell, if you enjoyed Son of Batman and/or Batman vs Robin, you’ll likely enjoy Batman: Bad Blood. It pushes the storylines first developed in those two movies ahead, brings about some satisfying resolutions while also laying the groundwork for future installments. Second Season of “Vixen” Animated Series Confirmed for CW Seed
The CW and CW Seed confirmed on January 10, 2016 that Vixen will return for a second season on the digital outlet. The first season debuted in Fall 2015 to critical and fan acclaimed. Like the first season, the second season of Vixen will consist of six episodes ranging from four to seven minutes in length. The second season of Vixen is expected to debut Fall 2016.
The CW describes Vixen as:
Originally from Africa, Mari McCabe’s (voiced by Megalyn Echikunwoke) parents were killed by local greed, corruption, and wanton violence. But the orphaned Mari refuses to succumb to the terrors surrounding her. Inheriting her family’s Tantu Totem, Mari can access the powers of animals—anything from the super-strength of a gorilla to the speed of a cheetah. As Vixen, she fights valiantly to protect the world from the threats like those that claimed her family.
Vixen is produced by Blue Ribbon Content and is based on DC characters. Executive producers are Greg Berlanti (Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl), Marc Guggenheim (Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) and Andrew Kreisberg (Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl). The second season of Vixen will show the title character expanding her quest for justice outside of Detroit. Characters from Arrow, The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The CW’s live-action shows based on the classic DC Comics characters, will again appear in animated form in Vixen. The CW is expected to release more details on the upcoming in the coming months leading up to its Fall 2016 debut on the CW seed digital service.
