| This right here was a excellent episode. It had everything you could want, lots of action, great dialogue, very very good plot and the first appearance of Darkseid. Kanto approaches Bruno Mannheim about a supply of weapons–weapons supplied to him by Darkseid. These weapons formed big hands, deadly bolts of fire and some nifty rocket packs of light shooter things. All of these weapons seriously pounded Superman down into the ground, but in the end, he prevailed and the weapons were no more. With this episode, not only do we get some extremely good shots of a really ticked off Superman (Screen #11 portrays that well, I think), we glimpses of Apocalypse, Darkseid and his minions and, like I mentioned before, some really cool action scenes. This episode definitely did NOT disappoint in anyway, shape, or form. This episode just has to be seen to be appreciated in all it’s glory, so definitely keep an eye out for any airings of this on TV. I simply can’t say anything more about this episode, without going on and on and on. |
