| Review A troubled kid who is a Bang Baby is pressured by his step-brother to use his talents for crime. At the community center a kid named Dwayne seems to be able to conjure up whatever he wants just by wising it. After he creates a giant robot and Static defeats it Dwayne's step-brother Aron figures out he's a Bang Aron really doesn't care about Dwayne and Virgil gets that confession on tape. At the mall where Dwayne has created some monsters to help Aron steal Static plays the tape. Dwayne decides to do the right thing and stop the attack. Aron is taken to jail. Okay, first off Dwayne is kind of an idiot. The kid looks to be about eight years old and he can't figure out that robbing a bank is wrong? I didn't buy him buying into Aron's malarkey for a second. If he IS that stupid he should be locked up too as he'd be a danger to himself and others. Secondly, this episode has no dramatic tension because it is so predictable. You know everything that is going to happen before the characters do and sure enough they are as bland as you could have guess. The animation was actually pretty good here. The first couple of seasons of this show exceeded expectations for character expressions and despite how lame this episode is it is no exception. Never-the-less I found this episode dull, predictable and no fun to watch. Story: * |
