| Review Static faces his toughest enemy yet, Omnifarious, who happens to be Edwin Alva Junior feels unappreciated by his father who is constantly talking down to him. He steals some of the Bang Baby gas from his father's lab and makes a special suit that will give him multiple superpowers. While on a confrontation with Static he learns Static secret identity be seeing through his mask with X-Ray vision. He tells him that if he doesn't want his secret revealed he'll leave him alone. Static refuses and tells Alva Omnifarious who had been sabotaging Alva This was obviously the highlight of the first season and I thought the diametrically opposed examples of Virgil and his father being used against the Alvas was a nice touch. I REALLY would have liked to have seen Omnifarious again but we had to settle for a cameo from him in No The animation here, while cartoony was pretty neat and I liked all of the transformations Omniferious performed at the end. This was the highlight of the first season and a hint of great things to come on Story: ****1/2 |
