New “Young Justice,” Animated “Batman” And “Green Lantern” For November 2011

New episodes of the acclaimed animated series Batman: The Brave and The Bold and Young Justice will continue airing on Cartoon Network for the month of November 2011. The network has also provided details for the special Green Lantern: The Animated Series special event airing on Friday, November 11th, 2011 at 7:00pm (ET).

As Earths Green Lantern, Hal Jordan is used to being in dangerous situations but hes never faced anything like this! Set at the farthest reaches of deep space, Green Lantern: The Animated Series finds Hal on the Guardian Frontier, where he must face down an invasion by the Red Lantern Corps. Powered by pure rage, the evil Red Lanterns have sworn to destroy the Green Lantern Corps and everything they stand for. Dispatched on the experimental spacecraft The Interceptor, Hal is soon joined by an all-new group of heroes on a mission to protect Guardian Space and the Green Lantern Corps itself!

Continuing, Cartoon Network has slated two new episodes of Batman: The Brave and The Bold to air during the month of November 2011. The episodes below represent the last of the third season episodes of Batman: The Brave and The Bold, with “Mitefall!” effectively the series finale, though the episode “The Mask of Matches Malone!” still remains unaired on Cartoon Network.

Bat-Mite thinks the series has jumped the shark, so he creates a fake family for Bats, but makes the show worse!

Additionally, the network has scheduled the episode “Night of the Batmen!” to air at 7:00pm (ET) on Friday, December 2nd, 2011. Batman: The Brave and The Bold will also be pre-empted on Friday, November 25th, 2011 due to holiday programming.

Young Justice will be pre-empted on Friday, November 25th, 2011 due to holiday programming. The series will again be pre-empted the following Friday – December 2nd, 2011 – for the debut of Ninjago on Cartoon Network.
