Dynamic Music Partners Comment On “Young Justice: Music from the DC Comics Animated Television Series”

Last week saw details announced for the upcoming Young Justice: Music from the DC Comics Animated Television Series soundtrack release from La-La Land Records, revealed here first at The World’s Finest. The soundtrack, collecting an assortment of music from the two-season run of the acclaimed Young Justice animated series, will be available both directly from La-La Land Records and from other major outlets starting Tuesday, July 16th, 2013. The World’s Finest caught up with Dynamic Music Partners, who provided the score for Young Justice, for their initial thoughts on this upcoming soundtrack release. Dynamic Music Partners is comprised of Kristopher Carter, Michael McCuistion, and Lolita Ritmanis.

“We put together an experience for the listener featuring the unique sounds of the score, major character themes, and fan-favorite moments from the episodes,” said Carter. “We literally filled every second of available space on the disc! The team at LaLa Land Records have outdone themselves by putting together fabulous liner notes with dynamic artwork provided by Warner Bros. Animation.”

“When we embarked on Young Justice, producers Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman envisioned a stylized, musically atmospheric score, to give their series a non-traditional yet powerful musical voice,” added Ritmanis. “This disc will take the listener on an intense ride, twisting and turning through many moods!”

“We’re thrilled that the music from Young Justice will finally be available!” exclaimed McCuistion. “The tracks appear on the CD in the same sequence that they originally aired to allow our fans to relive the series from start to finish.

And, we hope the extensive liner notes will give fans a chance to experience some of our behind-the-scenes creative process,” he concluded.

Stay tuned for a full-length interview with Dynamic Music Partners next month.

Young Justice: Music from the DC Comics Animated Television Series will be available July 16th, 2013 from La-La Land Records, available both directly from the label and other major retailers. Both compact disc and digital releases of this soundtrack will be issued. Complete details for the soundtrack release can be found at the The World’s Finest Young Justice subsite.
