| Review This is it folks. This is what this season has been building up to and perhaps because I was so thoroughly disappointed with what this season had done that I was quite pleased with the outcome of this episode. There’s no denying that it kicked ass and maybe if I wasn’t so pessimistic about this season, it would have been even better to me. As it stands, I can’t put aside that I thought the rest of the season sucked the big one but this one certainly almost made the mediocre Brotherhood of Evil episodes worth it. Like the episode before it, “Titans Together” was really just one giant round house of action. Punching, kicking, diving, ducking and more punching is what went on this hectic, intense and really fast-paced episode. While the opener set up what remaining Titans were left, the second started the action and the third continued until the very end. One of the coolest things in this episode was seeing Jericho in action. I’ve never heard of or saw Jericho before watching this episode, so who he was and what he could do was a complete mystery to me. Of course the show never said that Jericho was the son of Animation and fight boarding was pretty strong in this episode. The sheer amount of Titans that showed up (including a new one: say hello to a reformed Jinx!) alongside the villains must’ve been hell for the boarding team, but it was a gorgeous pay off. We’ve seen all the villains before, but there was something about seeing it all pile up in this final episode. The reappearance of Kid Flash and Jinx (voiced by Strong this time around and sounding more like Jinx than Lauren Tom did in “Lightspeed”) was also a pleasant surprise. I had hoped we’d see him again and Mas The ending to this episode would have been a perfect cap off to the rest of the show. The fade-to-black and then hearing only Robin yelling “Titans, Go!” was perhaps one of the best endings to a show |
