The all-ages “Johnny DC” titles, which include comic book spin-offs based on many of the animated DC cartoons, will see a twenty-five cent increase from $2.25 US/CAN to $2.50 US/CAN. The new prices will take effect in December 2008.
This price increase will affect all “Johnny DC” titles, including the comic based on the upcoming animated series Batman: The Brave and The Bold, scheduled to premiere in January 2009. The title, originally speculated for a November 2008 launch, is expected to be part of the “Johnny DC” line. The World’s Finest has confirmed the new January 2009 launch date for the upcoming Batman: The Brave and The Bold comic series.
