The All-New Batman: The Brave and The Bold #16, the final issue of the all-ages DC Comics title based on the acclaimed Batman: The Brave and The Bold animated series, arrives in comic book and hobby stores today. The issue, written by Sholly Fisch with artwork by Rick Burchett and Dan Davis, features Batgirl and the return of Bat-Mite. The All-New Batman: The Brave and The Bold #16 wraps up a three-year run for the comic title, including the original Batman: The Brave and The Bold volume, which debuted in January 2008. Gear Up for Unconventional Urban Warfare in an Original Download Only First-Person Multiplayer Shooter Available Now for Xbox 360, PlayStation3 system and Windows PC
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced the launch of Gotham City Impostors, an original, download only, multiplayer first-person shooter from Monolith Productions for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.
Gotham City Impostors allows up to 12 players to battle for control of an unhinged Gotham City overrun by Impostors inspired by the DC Comics characters Batman and The Joker. The game can be purchased for 1200 Microsoft Points in the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360, and for $14.99 in the PlayStationNetwork, as well as for PC via the Games for Windows LIVE Marketplace, Steam, Origin, GameStops ‘Impulse Driven’ download store and other leading digital resellers.
Gotham City Impostors is a unique first-person multiplayer shooter that delivers a completely different Batman experience that is irreverent, fun and humorous, said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production and Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game is unlike any other on the market today and gives fans the opportunity to play the game in whichever way they want to play. We cant wait to see reactions from players wreaking havoc in Gotham City.
Players can engage in deliriously fast paced, uniquely vertical, and completely unconventional urban warfare where progress supports leveling up and access to a mind-boggling array of customization options. Unlock new Bats or Jokerz costumes and build your own specific loadout from a huge assortment of traditional and homebrew weaponry, equipment, and perks. Gadgets such as the Glider Rig, Grappling Hook, and Spring Boots give gamers unprecedented mobility options, while support items like the Bear Traps, Boomerang, and Body Armor open up new tactical options.
The game features five maps and four modes inspired by DC Comics Batman license. The maps include Crime Alley, Amusement Mile, Ace Chemical, The Docks and Gotham Power. Gamers can choose from several gameplay modes Team Deathmatch, Fumigation or Psych Warfare modes and engage in all-out combat, or they can choose the Challenges mode, a single-player mode that allows players to safely explore the different maps and practice using different weapons, support items and gadgets.
A free downloadable content pack will be available in March. It will include a new 25th Floor map, as well as over 100 new customization options including weapons, support items, costumes and calling card elements.
