Airs Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET/PT and Sundays at 8:30 p.m. ET/ PT
Based upon the DC Comics super hero, Green Lantern: The Animated Series follows Earth’s Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, who is used to being in dangerous situations – but never anything like this! In the farthest reaches of deep space, Hal patrols the Guardian Frontier, where he must face down invasions from the evil Red Lantern Corps. Powered by pure rage, the evil Red Lanterns have sworn to destroy the Green Lantern Corps and everything they stand for. Dispatched on the experimental spacecraft, The Interceptor, Hal is soon joined by an all-new group of heroes on a mission to protect Guardian Space — and the Green Lantern Corps itself!
Young Justice
Premieres Saturday, July 7 at 10 a.m. ET/PT
Airs Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET/PT and Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT
Being a teenager means proving yourself over and over – to peers, parents, teachers, mentors and ultimately, to yourself. But what if you were a teenage superhero? How much harder would it be to prove yourself in a world of super powers, super villains and super secrets? Would you be ready for life-or-death rites of passage? Would you be ready to join the ranks of the great heroes and prove you’re worthy of the Justice League? That’s exactly what Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis will find out as members of Young Justice.
Batman: The Brave and The Bold
Premieres Thursday, July 5 at 7:15 a.m. ET/PT
Airs Mondays to Fridays at 7:15 a.m. ET/PT
Batman isn’t going at it alone this time! The Caped Crusader teams up with heroes from across the DC Universe, delivering nonstop action and adventure with a touch of comic relief. Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Aquaman and others fight crime alongside Batman, although their differing powers and personalities are often at odds with the Dark Knight’s style. While still based in Gotham, Batman often travels beyond the Gotham City limits, facing situations both unfamiliar and exhilarating. With formidable foes around every corner, Batman still relies on his stealth, resourcefulness and limitless supply of cool gadgets to uphold justice.
Please note Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Young Justice, and Batman: The Brave and The Bold will be exclusive to Cartoon Network starting in July 2012, with exception to the odd promotional event on Teletoon.
Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series are expected to be aired as part of an hour-long DC Nation programming block similar to the block on the American Cartoon Network channel. Further schedule details, including specific episodes and more, will be made available in the coming weeks. Cartoon Network debuts in Canada starting July 4th, 2012. Check your local service provider for more details.
