The first thirteen episodes of the CG-animated series Beware The Batman are now available to own on home video as part of a two-disc DVD set or single-disc Blu-ray release. Beware The Batman – Season One, Part One: Shadows Of Gotham features Batman, along with ex-secret agent Alfred Pennyworth and lethal swordstress Katana, facing off against the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld. The Warner Bros. Home Entertainment DVD release is available through all retail and online outlets, while the Blu-ray release is available exclusively through Warner Archive and select online outlets. MSRP for the two-disc DVD release is $19.97, and the MSRP for the single-disc Blu-ray release is $19.95.

The only reason that I’m frustrated is that people who bought the season pass on iTunes paid $50! I love Blu-ray much more but the benefit of a Season Pass is the instant access you get. But now I’ve paid for the lesser of the HD services and aren’t even getting the episodes in a timely fashion. I wish some plan would be announced. Or refunds handed out…
