In related news, Marvel Comics announced the fan-favorite Spider-Man: The Animated Series is returning in a special five-issue limited series coming September 2025. Spider-Man ’94 will pick up where the original cartoon left off and feature a new story-line set in the same continuity as the classic Fox Kids series. The 1990s animated series was a smash hit and considered highly-influential among fans in a somewhat similar vein to Batman: The Animated Series.
